Rock Climbing at La Luz

While my bucket list includes hopping about the Giant’s Causeway in Northern Ireland, I’m quite convinced that it will not be as challenging as rock climbing.

As November ground down, we went to La Luz Resort in Batangas for some rest and relaxation. We were really there for a dip in the beach, but the rock formations caught my eye. They were a lot like the beach rocks I saw in Bantayan Island near Ogtong Beach.

I’ve always had an attachment to the beach. I’ve almost died from drowning several times and yet the ocean has got me wrapped around her sandy fingers: the water, corals, coconuts, rock formations–it’s all enough to fill all of the Epic of the Three Stars Comic.

So I spent a good 30 minutes frying under the heat of the sun, climbing up and down the same way Labaw Donggon must have done so during his adventures.

Considering we have a surplus of these formations, I’m thinking we should add more of these in the Hinilawod Comic; more rock climbing for Labaw Donggon, Humadapnon and Dumalapdap. More fun for me.
