It’s a wallpaper for you. It’s an old drawing, but still one of my favorites… she’s a predecessor of my character design for Durunuun.
They say I have to paint an image in your mind
That same way black pepper arrests your senses
I’d like to think that you’re going to wake up to a very warm sun
The cinnamon rolls fill your room with a semblance of life
But, for yourself, you take nothing– you have nothing
And you leave that comfort because the rays of light
Have carved for you… a road you’ve never laid eyes on
And that painting has you by the neck
There’s no turning back.
